Brainworx bx_oberhausen

Overview

Brainworx Audio's first virtual instrument

An analog classic from the 70’s reborn, the bx_oberhausen is our first virtual instrument. Using our expert knowledge in the analog modeling world, this synthesizer is the most powerful recreation of a legend to date. The bx_oberhausen comes packed with full polyphony of up to 32 voices, allowing you to create sounds which were not possible with the hardware. Included is our Tolerance Modeling Technology (TMT) that was used on our Solid State Logic-approved bx_console SSL 4000 E and bx_console SSL 4000 G channel strips which accurately replicates individual component variations.

The bx_oberhausen’s voices can be combined into a powerful UNISON mode which when used with the unique TMT feature forms a complex, rich, and authentic analog sound simply unrivalled by any other virtual instruments. A key feature added to the bx_oberhausen is our Mid/Side (M/S) technology, further facilitating its uniqueness. Users can select which part of the sound passes through the filter section and which part does not. Results ranging from a solid bass foundation to crazy stereo processing are all perfectly possible! An intuitive set of effect modules were added from brands such as Mäag and more.
